Guide To Shobnall Marina

I have just had my boat blacked at Shobnall Marina and i must say i was very disapointed in the rules an regulations in the marina itself.

We opted to stay on our boat,that was such a bad decision,we weren’t allowed to have a code for the barrier so we couldn’t get our car out before 9am and after 5pm.We were also not allowed to use the elsan point at all so we had to put the cassettes in the boot of our car and travel back to our home mooring to empty them and we were told we could not walk around the side of the marina where the resident moorers were.

I must say though Edward and Scott did an excellent job on the boat and were very helpful.

The workshop guys and the chandlery look after the boaters there,but the marina does not.

Staff here are sooooo friendly, prices are great. FAR better than “certain” marinas thanks are just down the canal from here. This is my one stop for EVERYTHING narrow boat related.

Still the best marina/chandlery by a long stretch. Always a friendly welcome and great service. Very busy today and it’s busy because it’s good. Not sure about WB’s head wear but you can’t have everything 😀
