Highly recommended! Great boats, prices and service. Lots of fun!

Hired two boats for a group of 19 to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. Both boats – Viking and Norseman – were perfectly suited for a lovely day on the river.

We were shown everything that was needed at the start by efficient and friendly staff.

Boats Boats worked perfectly the whole time and were responsive to speed and steering adjustments.

The River Wey is beautiful this time of year and this is a fantastic way to enjoy a day outside, doing something fun with a bit of responsibility included and Farncombe Boat House is the ideal place to do it.

Absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful and fun time. We were on their smallest boat named ‘dot’. Plenty of space at the front!

The owners were so helpful, caring and nice. Highly recommended if you want to spend a day out with friends and family.

OUTSTANDING from start to finish! We travelled from Liverpool for a long weekend break aboard the Elm which is 6 berth and had booked with Farncombe Boat House after reading many excellent reviews. We were not disappointed!

The service we received from Russell and the team was truly exceptional. Not only did our crew receive actual hands-on practical training including going through a physical lock and turning, but also the team shared valuable personal tips and guidance on every aspect of the upcoming experience. This was above and beyond what we have previously experienced with other companies. The entire team were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble (even down to offering our two mad woofs a little treat!)

The Elm was immaculate, spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable for our party of four adults and two dogs (up to two dogs can go for free!) We had two bathrooms which was very handy with four adults and super comfy beds which can be set up as twins or doubles plus extra in the living room area if needed. This is a LONG boat but we were so well prepared by the team prior to setting off on our own that we had no problems at all.

I had a few questions prior to our holiday and my email was responded to within the hour with friendly excellent advice.

We all enjoyed the exceptional experience with Russell and all the team that we were already discussing when we will book again before we had even loaded up the car to come home!

If you are considering a canal boat experience (even just for the day) we would highly recommend Farncombe Boat House if you want to have a wonderful time with expert, friendly guidance and training.

Rented a canal boat for a weekend from here. The team were so helpful and friendly, we had a great weekend and it was an amazingly relaxing and peaceful way to spend some time.
