Guide To Wiltshire Narrowboats

We have just had a lovely two week holiday on a narrowboat from Lower Heyford in Oxfordshire with Oxfordshire Narrowboats. The staff were very helpful from the outset with the boat handover and checking we were happy with everything before we set off. We covered approx 150 miles and 60 locks going up to Coventry Basin and back. Our gas bottle ran out on the way back but our telephone call to the office was swiftly dealt with and we had a replacement one in speedy time. On our return the staff were great in getting us moored and ready for off. They even sorted our flat car battery so we didn’t have to call the breakdown services. Thank you to Kevin and colleagues for this. This was the third holiday that we have had with them. An excellent company to holiday with, great communication from start to finish. Highly recommended.

All of the staff we encountered were 100% committed, professional, friendly, genuinely interested in making sure we had the BEST trip on our narrowboat – and WE DID! Highly recommend this crew. They were simply the GREATEST! Thank you so much for everything.

The staff at Bicester Oxfordshire narrowboats are rude as hell you contact them to make a complaint about the Bradford on Avon site after the manager and his boyfriend video inside your boat and go around telling people that you’re gay when thery are yourself causing massive problems and all the woman on the desk can do is laugh and she will not talk to you and puts the phone down and the manager from Bicester has emailed me and turned around and said that apparently I’m harassing the staff at Bradford on Avon site and they’re not to have any contact with me absolutely disgusting company and I will be taking it up further like I have with the police already. Had the most amazing day and Ed was so nice explained everything, nothing was to much trouble if your thinking about hiring a boat it’s amazing and you’ll definitely enjoy it Do it

Hired a day boat for a family day out, absolutely brilliant the staff were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble.had so much fun would definitely book again.
