Visited for a family birthday. Food was lovely, couldn’t fault it. Staff were friendly and we had no issues with the service. We look forward to either returning to eat in or to take away.

Avoid if you like indian food. Very poor. We will never come back here. Potentially the worst food we have ever had.
Firstly, service was very poor. We waited about 2 hours and 15 minutes and we had still not received our main courses. Meanwhile we could see around 50 takeaway orders flying out of the kitchen and staff rushing to get them out on time – annoying.
When the mains finally arrived we ordered 4 separate and very different curries. I ordered a madras and my wife ordered the chefs special tandoori butter chicken – both of these looked and tasted exactly the same apart from the madras was slightly spicier (please see picture attached – those are 2 separate curries, one is madras and one is butter chicken!!!??). We also ordered dopiaza that tasted the same and a tikka which tasted the same but was red.
All of these curries had minimal flavour and looked like baby food. Very unappetising.
Meat from the tandoori grill sizzlers was dry and overcooked with minimal flavour.
Staff were innatentive. We had to ask several times when we wanted more drinks and not a single person came to us and asked if the food was nice or if we were having a good time.
The main goal to Staff appeared to be dealing with the orders for takaway whilst neglecting all of the customers in their restaurant.
We didnt finish our mains and complained to the manager and ended up paying nothing – which was the only positive to come from the night. We have never not paid for food before when eating out but really, it was that bad.
We left still hungry.

I enjoyed the £11.95 Banquet Offer, definitely one of the best value offerings in Whitchurch for dinner and the food was pretty good, no complaints with any of the courses, they also have Cobra on tap which is always a treat!

Some of the best curry we’ve eaten. We order on a regular basis as always so tasty. Best curry in Whitchurch.
