Great pub and rhe food was very good as well. Clean and tidy and ideal for boaters as there is a 24 hour mooring next to it. If you going to eat at weekends it probably best to book in advance

Never tried the food, but would love to come back and try it.

Pint of Madri was £5.50, reasonable I say. Great view of the canal as I enjoyed my pint and peaceful.

I do recommend that you pop in for at least a pint. Nice man who worked never got his name but he filled up my water bottle which was nice of him.

A lovely find, peaceful spot next to the canal. Excellent food, freshly cooked & piping hot. Superb value for money with generous portions. Very obliging with my friend’s allergy to dairy, nothing too much trouble…highly recommend.

The service was excellent and the food was really nice. I ordered from the specials board it was £10 for salt and pepper chicken and chips. The chicken came in battered balls, and it was seasoned really well, tasted better than some chineses I’ve eaten. The wife got gammon and salad she didn’t want the chips. We both got a pint of coke zero. The chef came out and asked if she would like vegetables instead. Which we thought was really good of them. The pub has seating round the back, so we sat in the sun watching the canal boats pass by.

We went to the White Bull yesterday afternoon, for lunch and a drink.

We were served by a very nice young man.

There was a delay on our food and he was so apologetic and polite, not something that is always on display in other establishments.

It was the first time we had been back after a rather unfortunate incident some months ago which was dealt with swiftly by the manager.

However, based on our most recent experience we will be back in the near future.

The beer garden is a really nice addition with plenty of seating.
