We stayed a couple of nights last week in Swan Lodge. No special occasion just the need for some relaxation and time together. We both loved it so much. Swan Lodge was everything we’d hoped for. It looked fabulous when we walked in, it was clean and welcoming and the small details made it even better. The breakfast box was great, everything fresh and very tasty.

We loved the hot tub and the dome. We walked along the canal path, stopping for a drink in the local pub.

At Josephine’s recommendation in the evening we sat and watched a beautiful sunset by the canal. It was great just to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

The one thing I would do differently, is book for a little longer as we didn’t have time to experience the other available facilities.

I would also agree with Josephine you can never have enough pretty outdoor lights.

We definitely want to come back and would recommend to others.

We had to leave a review. It was amazing experience.

Me and my missus visited for a weekend and were positively surprised of the quality of service, attention to detail and overall location of the lodge. Owners of the property have poured their heart and soul into this business.

First impressions were really exciting. Visually lodges are gorgeous, nice wooden interior, fully furnished and stacked up kitchen area with all appliances necessary, all pots and pans, cutlery, glasses caps, everything you need.

welcome card with lovely words and a little tablet with our names outside of the lodge was perfect attention to detail and made as feel very special.

prepared and warm hot tub was waiting for as and it was Godsend. covered with little gazebo for a rainy weather.

Light strings across the property made place look magical and very romantic.

Cosy projector area under the see through dome was another excellent area for us to chill and watch a movie. local wifi is strong and even get a phone services there too (EE)

There is dozens of things I could mention and they are all positive. owners are very friendly and welcoming. will give you anything you require (thank you for the ice)

1000% recommend for a romantic getaway without kids and pets. perfect place. will come back again for sure.

We stayed in Swan Lodge last week for our honeymoon. We added a just married sign and a decoration package of flowers, petals, banners and balloons. When we arrived it was decorated beautifully and we instantly felt relaxed and ready for our much needed time away and together. The breakfast hamper was delicious and included everything we liked. We enjoyed relaxing nights in the Dome and hot tub, we also enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fire pit toasting marshmallows just watching the world go by. We looked forward to our daily visits from.the chickens and watching them scratch around in the soil and twigs it was lovely to see.

Each night we went and sat on the chairs by the canal and watched the lovely sunsets with the sheep and lambs in the background.

We went on some lovely walks along the canal to the nearby town of Miserton and shopped in their local buthers and had fish and chips from the chippy.

Half way through our stay we went on a short drive to Yorkshire wildlife park and spent the day there it was brilliant.

The weather was lovely throughout the week and we just had the most perfect time just us two without any worries, just a lovely relaxing time surrounded by wildlife.

Would highly recommend coming to stay here for a nice relaxing few days away and time for just you.

what an amazing stay. We spent the weekend enjoying the kingfisher boat. What an experience it was. From the start we was welcomed by Ronnie and Josephine who told us everything we needed to know about the boat. When we got to the boat it was very clean and tidy. We had some amazing touches such as a love heart board with our names on, slipper, dressing gowns and an amazing breakfast hamper that included cereal, bread, jams, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sausages, bacon, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, milk and even salmon. Omg also the bed was so super comfortable we had the best night’s sleep. Walked the canal to the pub came back and sat in the chairs on the decking watching the sunset. All round amazing weekend will definitely be going back.

A truly relaxing wonderful place. They have thought of everything. The cabin was beautiful with everything you could possible need. Also a lovely welcome pack there waiting. We also purchased a few extras which added to the experience, Prosecco on arrival, bbq pack and afternoon tea. All were lovely but the afternoon tea was particularly superb, very highly recommend. Looking for a place to unwind and relax you won’t go wrong here.
