We came from Czechia for 1 week stay. We’ve got all support we asked for from Sandra and her peers. The boat (Majestic) was in good condition with no catches. We really enjoyed the Walesh/English countryside and the special chemistry souroudning the canal anywhere we went to.

Note: there is a canal breach next to Whitchurch (whole 2026) which won’t let you to pass through. If you plan to stay for 1 week you may consider visiting the Montgomery canal instead. Not mentioning the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – that’s the must indeed.

Canal boating with Sandra and her wonderful team has been an absolute delight. So helpful, so friendly, so accommodating – the eulogies could go on forever. And the boats are fabulous too! Situated on the mesmerising Llangollen Canal a trip with these guys will leave you not wanting to leave. From the initial contact, either online or in person, is a good experience; no AI Chatbox, online contact only but real humans interacting – a rare and nice experience in today’s world. If you have not boated before – not a problem. A personal lesson as far along the canal as you need and then off you go. The boats are kitted out with everything you could possibly need and really clean and tidy. The canal itself is one of the best in the UK and the Pontcysllte Aqueduct is awe inspiring. If you are considering a canal holiday then look no further.

Great trip on the llangollen canal for our first go with these guys. Beautiful area went to Trevor and back to Ellesmere lovely and quiet and lovely clean boat. We took out wicked william, had a fair amount of rain but still stunning. Would love to do the Montgomery canal, we had a little walk of it and very peaceful. Thoughly recommend these guys.

We came fron Australia and had a wonderful time on these boats. Well presented. Beds comfortable. No dramas at all. Lovely people and helpful. Great spot to visit all the water ways . Hardly any lochs and plenty to see. Do yourself a favour and book here. Everything supplied except food and clothing.

I cannot recommend Whittington Wharf Narrowboats enough. The entire process was flawless. Kate was a great help with choosing a boat and where to go before we even booked. We booked the Majestic. When we arrived we got a full run through of every system on the boat and rules and procedures and even had a driving lesson for several hundred yards. The boat was in tip top shape. We made it all the way to Langollen and back in 3 days. This place really made our trip memorable.
