Great Bunch of guys, Got my boat lifted into the water today and they made it very stress free and put me at ease. Anyone needing a boat lifting in or out of the canal I would highly recommend them. 👌

We’re inexperienced boaters and we had a problem with our gas canister changeover. The great guys at Gallows Bridge Marina came to our rescue and we were on our way in minutes! 😊

I’ve just had my boat out for blacking and some other bits and bobs for the second time here and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Brendan, Arran and young Brendan go above and beyond to make sure you’re sorted, and the work is consistently top quality. I had an access hatch cut into the stern of my last boat as well as surfaces painted and the work was so good I’m sure it was one of the reasons my boat sold as quickly as it did. Got a little welding job done on my narrowboat which was done quickly and efficiently. Refreshing to not be mucked around unlike recent past experience elsewhere!

After a very traumatic event in Dobson Two Locks we were left with a very bent rudder. I rang round local boatyards and was told to contact Gallows Bridge Boatyard.

A friendly voice at the other end of the line told me they could sort it the following day.

We limped back to Shipley and reached the yard at 10.00am. We were prepared to move out to a hotel for several days.

In the event, the boat was craned out of the water, the rudder was mended and we were back in the water by 2.00pm

The two brothers and their father who run the boatyard and other staff were absolutely brilliant. Not only did they do a great job but they were very kind and helpful. They helped to restore our confidence and turned what could have been a serious problem into a blip in our journey. Other boaters we met also commented on their efficiency and kindness.

I cannot recommend them highly enough
