We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip to Linlithgow Aqueduct. The crew were all volunteers in their 60s who were absolutely adorable and lovely. The boat was also equipped with free tea, coffee, biscuits and drinks. We made a 20mins stop at the Aquaduct to explore the impressive structure and sailed. It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend bringing some spare change to tip the crew.

Was here with my daughter. Wonderful afternoon. The Canal society were so friendly and informative and the trip itself was lovely.

Absolutely loved our canal trip! First time being on a canal boat and I will definitely do it again. We did the trip to the Avon Aqueduct and it was amazing. So relaxing and stress relieving. Next time I think we’ll do the Falkirk Wheel trip. Tea, coffee and biscuits were also available too at no extra charge which was fab.

Lovely afternoon with my mum and nieces on the canal. Very reasonably priced at £15 for a family ticket for 4 which was the cheapest option for us . We had the boat to ourselves and Dave our captain kept us informed about what we were passing and local history. It was a great trip and we finished off feeding the ducks which was great fun and only £1 for the duck food.

A very enjoyable cruise for 2.5hrs out to the spectactular Avon Aqueduct & back. The very comfortable canal boat the “Saint Michael” glided along through the countryside at a leisurely pace. Tea 🍵 & coffee ☕ plus a selection of biscuits all included on a help yourself basis. Small museum at the basin with lots of historical information/artefacts & photos. Charming cafe also on site. All ran by very pleasant knowledgeable volunteers 👍😁
