Guide To The Farmers Arms
The Farmers Arms Situated along Marsh Lane in the charming village of Ravensmoor, near Nantwich, the Farmers Arms is a historic establishment with roots dating back to at least 1840.This welcoming country pub, once a Greenall Whitley outlet, has evolved over the years into an open-plan venue that skillfully balances its historical character with contemporary dining appeal, especially following its refurbishment in June 2025, which was carried out by the same management team that operates the Globe in Nantwich.
Today, visitors can enjoy a quintessential British pub experience, complete with homemade meals, real ales, and a spacious bar area featuring a pool table and a cosy log fire for the colder months. There is also a generous beer garden for outdoor relaxation.
In keeping with its rural heritage, the Farmers Arms maintains a dog-friendly policy throughout the bar area and prides itself on being family-friendly. This makes it a beloved destination for both locals and visitors exploring the picturesque Cheshire countryside around Nantwich.

Been a while since visiting this pub. And can say not disappointed! Looking for somewhere cosy and relaxing to eat. The service was amazing very friendly staff. And as for the food amazing!! very generous portions had to wrap some to take home which wasn’t a problem. Definitely recommend

A slightly peculiar pub. From the outside it offers traditional country pub promises, but the interior is a bit more early 80’s hotel.
However, do not be put off as once inside the staff are warm and welcoming.
A small but good selection of hand pulled ales will appease the beer connoisseur.
The real jewel in this pu s crown is the food. A good selection of everything as well as daily specials.
Friday was burger night and it did not disappoint.
Two home made burgers, salad, bacon, brie and a garlic mayonnaise was the double stack burger I went for and it was huge and all together delicious.

It was very nice, we were part of quite a big group so it was understandable that things we harder than a family of 4 etc
The food was lovely but the portion was quite small, and it was warm not hot. The atmosphere was a bit boring nothing really going on, needed some music playing at least. But overall it was lovely and the food tasted great. Would recommend
