Lovely staff and accommodation is great and the cost is so reasonable, great location if you are heading to Drayton Manor. Only thing I’d say is that the rooms where really warm, so a fan in the warmer weather would be great 😍

Value for money.

You get what you pay for.

No brewing up facilities in room. You have to go to bar area to get drink and this is closed between midnight and 8am.

A fire door on landing that can only slam shut and rattle the walls. With people going through it all night.

Room was rotten. 2 thin pillows on a double bed and when asked for another was told no. Was told if wanted tea and coffee had to go into the restaurant but didn’t fancy that when the pub was full of drunks till late. Would of been better with kettle etc in the room. The main doors to the actual bar area wasn’t open till 8am so couldn’t get a cuppa untill then anyway.

No food available!

Very basic room with no hairdryer.

Mould in shower.

Broken toilet seat.

Very noisy from bar and late night guests.

However, there were plenty of sockets!

Very small car park, so it was full.

Staff were helpful.

We stayed here for two nights while attending an event at Drayton Manor, and we chose this location due to its ideal proximity—just a few minutes by car or a 15-minute walk.

The rooms are situated above a busy but friendly pub. It didn’t bother us, but if you’re travelling with small children and hoping for an early night, the noise might be an issue. The rooms are fairly basic, with limited bed linens and towels. Each bed had just one thin pillow, and we were told there were no extras available. Additionally, the shower had some mould on the tiles, and the drawers had what appeared to be spilt makeup inside. However, none of these were major concerns for us—the bed linens were clean, and we weren’t planning on spending much time in the room.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, even allowing us to bring food from across the street into the pub, providing plates and cutlery for us.

I’d stay here again, but next time, I’d bring my own pillows and towels for added comfort.
