Signs everywhere saying food served until 9pm, but when we walked in, we were told they didn’t serve food at all. I mentioned the signs plastered outside about food, and he just kept repeating, “we don’t do food.” We went somewhere else and ate (spent £90) then walked down the canal, which led to the beer garden of this place, and there were people eating food outside. So clearly, it is a very biased place that doesn’t like people from out of the area. We went to Tommy’s pizza bar across the road, and it was absolutely incredible.

Nice friendly big old fashioned pub, I enjoyed a few beers there with a few friends, I’d definitely go again.

Went in for a drink whilst passing through. Awful place, whole pub needs a deep clean, bar steward scruffy and miserable and warm wine. Wouldn’t like to eat here.

Called in here with a friend ..good local boozer, classic sort of layout. People and staff were pleasant enough. Beer was standard but well kept. There was a group in from a barge trip, it was quite lively but still friendly. We didn’t eat here.
