Probably one of my favourite ever pubs. From the bar staff to the locals, i felt really welcome and part of the family . Such loveky down to earth people. Its a proper pub pub. Has live music in the beer garden and feels.like every generation go there, the locals and bar staff greet familiar faces with smiley faces and banter. Will definitely visit every time we pass through this beautiful village

Nice old pub. Friendly staff and locals. It has a nice beer garden and good selection of beers on pump and tap. We didn’t eat here so can’t say what the food is like. Looks like it also has live music at the weekends. Would definitely go back here.

Proper boozer. 16th century building, bit worn around the edges but shedloads of character, you pay for the beer in your glass not the paint on the walls. And at £3.20 for an excellent 3.9 light bitter you’ll have enough left over for a pickled egg! Sun trap beer garden and friendly staff a bonus.
