Family meal for 6 of us, asked for a dog friendly table which was soon sorted, there are treats and dog blankets too. Roast beef was a bit tough but tasty, all the other meals were hot and good sized portions. Kids meals come in different sizes and we order the big ones which were plenty. Friendly staff, Amelia was very helpful and polite. Have had cheaper drinks elsewhere but overall we had a great time and would go back.

A lovely time spent at The Watermill incorporated with our excursion to the Safari and Theme Park! Perfectly located with our stay at The Travelodge which was directly opposite!
They say a place is considered great when it has good hospitality, and we can without a doubt say we had outstanding hosting, namely Sam and Lexi who demonstrated levels of impartial hospitality any employer of any establishment would desire, especially with them unknowingly having in their presence silver award winner Gideon Nash Director of Nature Care representing St Vincent and The Grenadines from the Chelsea Flower Show 2025! Top marks all the way for Sam and Lexi for making our trip more than pleasurable! We definitely recommend The Watermill to anyone visiting the area! 10 out of 10!!!!

On leaving West Midlands Safari Park, this lovely looking place welcomed us with open arms, 15 family members on an Easter good Friday!.
This diamond establishment was a 7-minute drive on the way back to the M5, so it was extremely handy for us and our starving entourage.
On entering the very large and good-looking venue that also happens to be opposite a travel lodge, which is also great for a stay over, I was greeted with a warm smile and a “can I help you luv”, I instantly knew i was in the right place, I asked for a table for our large group and welcomed a positive reply offering a large section at the top of a few stairs overlooking a working canal.
Our experience here was great from start to finish, the waiting and bar staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was hot and delicious and very reasonably priced.
We will definitely be forgoing the usual overpriced mediocre rubbish that you find in the park and doing this on every visit!.
What a lovely way to end a lovely day!.
A return visit soon, I’m sure!….

After a very enjoyable meal the previous evening we decided to go to the Watermill again for breakfast. It was delicious and again the staff were friendly! We were lucky enough to be attended to by the same waitress as the night before. So once again a very pleasant trip away and being right by the canal (where it is child and dog friendly) it was just perfect! 👌🏻
