Guide To Andersen Boats

This is the fourth time of using Andersen Boats and can highly recommend. Very nice, clean and well maintained boats which are a pleasure to hire. Excellent and friendly staff always happy to help and great advice on routes to travel.

Andersen Narrow Boats is a wonderful company to hire from! Their website is easy to use, prices good, and communication quick, friendly and informative. This was our second time to use them (all the way from Texas) and we’ll likely do it again. We find it easy to fly into Manchester, Uber to Middlewich, stay in a local hotel and enjoy a pub for the night before we go out. Then on the morning of, we drop our luggage with them and easily walk for all food and items needed.

You have many choices of areas to visit from them and they give wonderful instructions as well as provide an excellent instruction binder.

Narrow Boating is a relaxing, easy going adventure in this beautiful, verdant British countryside! We throughout enjoyed the Anderton Lift on this trip as well.

Superbly run holiday narrowboat rental. Great central location with access to several routes including Cheshire Ring and Llangollen canals. Beautiful well equipped boats.

Just returned from a weeks hire on the Fjord Emperor. Received a great induction, all covid precautions taken and very safe. Secure vehicle parking. Very friendly family run boatyard.

Our boat was well prepared and we were undeway once loaded, enjoying our holiday and beautiful scenery.

We had a very slight issue with the fridge on our third day. An engineer was immediately dispatched, even though we were in the middle of nowhere (Bosley Bottom Lock). Repair was carried out efficiently with no impact on our holiday.

I cannot recommend this boatyard highly enough. If your thinking about using Anderson, just go ahead and book. You won’t be dissapointed.

I cannot speak too highly of Andersen’s Boats. Nothing was too much trouble for them in their efforts to make our boating experience a good one.

My first thought after our holiday was ‘when can we come back!’
