Great secure little overnight stop for a concert in Birmingham. Bus into centre at top of road.

Toilets, water and electricity available.

Hired ‘Happy Dayz’ for the day and had a fab time! No dog bowl or hand wash which was a little disappointing (particularly as we didn’t realise til we were en route), but wouldn’t stop us going again! Would just take a few minutes to make sure we were fully equipped before departing.

Also for anyone taking a dog, be aware the steps down are more ladder-like, so not easy access for the dogs (though some may like this!)

Very friendly, easy to pull up along side for diesel etc – would definitely recommend (same guy that owns our other favourite boatyard in Warwick by old Kates Boats)

We met Dean on our way to Birmingham. He advised us to go there on the Stratford canal rather than the Grand Union because he’d had lots of boats vandalised at the top end of the GU. We took his advice and were very pleased we did. We called in at Lyons for gas, fuel, and a pump out and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Dean and every success to you. Nick & Steve

Fantastic service friendly staff and they were very helpful, stopped for a pump out and water top up. The staff knew what they were doing without any fuss. On site shop which sells all you need for on the go repairs and Ice Creams 🍦. Would definitely use again.
