Nice spot, very peaceful and well maintained

What a lovely place to stay we have moored up on the visitor mooring got a fob for access to the club house. We went last night and was made to feel very welcome. The marina moorers are absolutely lovely freindly and helpful.

Invited by this year’s Commodore Andy to call in after meeting him on our way back from the Bingley 3 and 5 rise trip. 3 boats were welcomed by all onto the visitors moorings just outside the club. ( water & electric spot on) We had Saturday lunch in the clubhouse which was plentiful and very tasty along with a couple of drinks. (recommend the Quiche). Went back in the club night time and again welcomed and made to feel at home. Thanks to all at SYBC from the Retford Mariners Boat Club.

We stayed overnight next to the canal in our campervan, a superb little place to stop over when the weather is nice. Very peaceful area and closer to a pub that serves food (we didn’t visit).

Great place with cool boats, shame that I’ve not got enough £ to buy one and keep it Thier, never know, maybe one day.🤑👍
