Our experience at Tewitfield Marina was outstanding. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The thoughtful welcome touches like fresh milk and coffee made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.

The location is excellent — right next to the beautiful Lancaster Canal walking trail, and only a short drive to many of the Lake District’s top attractions, including Windermere, Ingleton Waterfall Trail, and Sizergh Castle. The peaceful surroundings and excellent housekeeping made this the perfect base for a Lake District holiday. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient stay near Carnforth!

Apartment rooms were spotless and everything you need, you open your doors and look straight out onto the marina below. The upper apartments are pet free, whereas the ground floor apartments allow dogs. The Longlands hotel is next door where there is a nice bar and restaurant inside. Bus stop right outside, takes you to Carnforth, Lancaster. Other side of road takes you to Kendal, Windermere.

Highly recommended 👌

Beautiful stay second trip, paid for early check in.Worth every penny too lovely and clean, went to Longlands for dinner and a few drinks,we tried to book another night but it was already booked.Husband slid on the mat at door to patio and landed on patio hurt his knee,we moved the mat as it is a hazard, will be back though very soon 😀
