Guide To Savile Town Wharf

What a totally unexpected place to find a campsite. It’s bang smack in the middle of a massive industrial area of dewsbury but what a little piece of heaven.

We actually stopped at the Old Stable Coffee House. A lovely little cafe right beside the marine. Seating outside to view the boats and, if your lucky like we were, maybe a Kingfisher. Limited menu of hot or cold sandwiches, jacket potato or panini but was a nice lunch for a mid walk/ride. With a little play area for kids. I’ll definitely go again.

Nice place to stay in our Motorhome and very reasonably priced. Great place for walking dogs down by the canal. Short walk into City centre. Great location.
