Guide To Wigrams Turn Marina

Hired a long boat from Black Prince Company and collected from this marina.

Our 3rd trip but first from here.

Service offered by Wigrams was outstanding

Spoke to the fantastic Dawn a few days before we were collecting and she advised boat would be ready earlier than originally advised so we could head off early.

Young Spencer ran us through the boat’s systems expertly and we were off with a detailed set of very helpful notes and timings of places of interest along the route I had mentioned to Dawn a few days earlier.

Our boat was beautiful, spotlessly clean inside and out, all Wigram staff so happy, helpful and welcoming.

My friends and I enjoyed the experience so much that we are rebooking with Black Prince out of Wigrams for May 2027 but will take a different route on departure.

Dawn, Spencer and colleagues, keep up the fantastic work, have a safe and prosperous year and accept thanks from Andy and all the lads on Bess from last weekend.

Just have to say how helpful and friendly the staff were at Wigrams when we arrived to have our narrowboat toilet pumped out – task we were dreading!! Tom on reception was great and Ben was brilliant giving us loads of help to get our tank sorted. Couldn’t recommend this marina highly enough. Many thanks guys.

Wigrams Turn Waterside & Marina is a well-kept, peaceful spot with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The team is approachable and ready to assist, creating a genuinely welcoming environment. Its location offers great access to several canal routes, and the marina has a calm, well-managed feel. A lovely place to moor and enjoy life on the water.

Lovely open day. Beautiful marina, plenty of parking too. The staff and boaters were all very friendly.
