We hired a John French boat last weekend on July 4th for a special family weekend. John was so helpful beforehand advising what might work. We subsequently spent a lovely two hours going from Cowey Sale to Chertsey Lock with a ploughman’s lunch. There were 21 of us and several dietary needs, all beautiful taken care of. Thank you John and team for helping us make special memories. The boat trip made our family weekend really special.

We had a wonderful evening cruise with friends and family to celebrate a 70th birthday. Loved floating down the river, eating, drinking and chatting. Food was delicious and the bar well stocked. The JGF team worked very hard to ensure the guests were well looked after, even though it was their fourth outing that weekend! Thank you. We had great fun.

We had an amazing 80th birthday party on board with 40 guests and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was a very welcoming cruise on the River Thames, perfectly relaxed and we were free to party as much as we liked while feeling very safe. The bar prices were reasonable and the food was good. John was the perfect host—highly recommend for a private party! Everyone agreed it was the best party ever.

I highly recommend JGF boats. The 4hr winter party cruise was for my 60th birthday. John, Paula and crew were brilliant. The Walton Lady was clean and decorated beautifully, food was excellent quality and plentiful, the bar was well stocked with great choice. John and Paula were so friendly and helpful in the preparations. We had a fantastic night. Highly recommend.
