Guide To Country Craft Narrowboats

Very nice staff att Country Craft Narrowboats. Small details that makes the difference like fresh flowers in the cabin. Well equipped pantry and well equipped boat. Fresh and clean. Good instruktions how to deal with locks and mooring. Servicephone nummer in case of problems. Very nice canal and wonderful scenery. No problems att all on the canal.

Highly recommend company to hire your narrowboat for an amazing trip on a beautiful canal.

Just returned from a week on Country Lass. We loved this stunning canal so much we came back for a second visit. The boat was well equipped and very clean. We had an amazing week. The staff at Country Craft narrow boats are fantastic, lovely friendly people. We had to finish our holiday a day early due to health reasons, Rob couldn’t of been more helpful! We have hired boats regularly for years in England and I can honestly say the team at Country Craft were the nicest and really went out of their way to ensure our holiday was great. Thanks guys, we’ll be back!

I was passing country crafts boat house in the pouring rain on my canal boat and had difficulty stopping at the lock as they had moored their boats all along the jetty near the lock. As I contemplated walking across their deck to get to the tow bath a man nipped out from the building and put a rope across the rail to stop me. He never said anything, offered me a hand or helped us to pull in. I’m not sure I would ever want to hire a boat from such a rude and unhelpful company, not a great advert for Country Crafts.

We had a super 4 day cruise on the Country Maid up to Brecon. We had little experience but everyone was very patient and helpful showing us the ropes and how to operate the Locks. It’s a really nice family business. The narrowboat was spotless and very comfortable. Would definitely return.

Great fun on the water and doing the locks, this is tick against my bucket list.
