We were staying over for a wedding. We were able to have a dog friendly room which was excellent. Only downside unable to use the bath/shower as not able to climb into bath but worked around it. Breakfast good choices only not as hot as l would have liked.

Excellence in all respects. Breakfast was sumptuous, made even better by the warm and friendly welcome from all the staff; Laura deserves a special mention for her attentive and cheery disposition! Thanks to all, I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

I met a business colleague here for a catch up and some food. I’d never been before. The room was quite spacious and easy to hold a conversation. We ordered starters and a main. Although the food took a little while to arrive after ordering, the food tasted good. We ate the salmon starter and burgers and chips for the main. I would return and do the same again as its only around 20-25 mins from the office.

Lovely hotel just off the motorway. Claims to be dog-friendly and lives up to the promise, with treats on reception, dog bed and bowls in the room and a big field next to the car park where you can let dogs off lead. Charmingly friendly staff and great bar food, especially the Nibbles. Highly recommended!

What a charming place! The property is set in very peaceful surroundings and the grounds with the moat are pretty special. We had a fabulous meal in the Lounge Bar, while the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and served in the Orangery. Our room was a bit dated, but spacious and very clean. I would absolutely recommend this place for a little gateway or to host an event.
