Just a short walk from our mooring spot on the river. What a find, great food and atmosphere and amazing hospitality.
Thanks for having us!
Would recommend.
Really glad Knightley has re-opened, Jacqui is doing a fantastic job with food, drinks and events.
Oktoberfest a go go!!
Update: New opening hours and lunch time menu is possibly what I needed to know for Mondays when I’m WFH. Note, Fish finger sarnie and chunky chips really hits the spot.
Update: Sunday roasts have been absolutely immense since they launched. The trio of meats is always the one. 8/6/2025
A genuinely fun pub. Great pizza and decent fish and chips. That was the limit of the menu when we visited hence 4 stars but… The service was excellent and the beer was good too.
Everything is reasonably priced
which is a refreshing. If this was my local I’d be in every night and that was the vibe I got from the crowd round the pool table. Not somewhere you’d go for an anniversary but this pub is about repeat business and yes, I’ll be going back when I can.
Great (and only) pub in the village of Yelvertoft. We did a hike and ended at the pub, so the real ale was a welcome sight. They had pork and beef baps with chips or a large selection of homemade pizzas. The meat lover pizza was really good, so I would recommend. Definitely a place to go and meet the locals.
We moored on the canal and popped down to the pub on the Saturday for a drink. It was so welcoming and we were told about the Sunday dinners. We looked at the menu and decided to book. It also coincided with the England Rugby which was great. We felt extremely welcomed and had an excellent Sunday dinner. We can highly recommend this pub it’s definitely the heart of the village. We will be back.
