This is an attractive historic pub located on the sea wall of beautiful Burnham on Crouch. It’s ideally situated & a great place to visit, all year round. It’s dog friendly, and offers dog treats & sausages – which is a bonus! The breakfast, lunch, dinner & roast choices are good, with a varied selection of food & drinks. Portions are often generous! The customer service provided by Claire, Chelsea & Becky is excellent – a consistently warm friendly welcoming group of lovely ladies. The landlady Victoria is a trooper & works tirelessly to make it great. I’ve not used the hotel, so can’t comment on this. Love this pub!

Rude woman behind the bar with blonde curly hair and glasses. Bad attitude & never smiles. She should get the sack.

Everything seemed too much trouble for her.

Other staff much nicer.

Roast was the worst I ever experienced.

Shame it’s a nice place in a great location.

Beautifully situated on the seafront. Full of character and seemed very popular particularly as it was a Monday evening. A couple of real ales and variety of the usual selection of alcohol. Although presentation and substantial helpings of dinner choices were good two meals were found to be over powered with to much salt.

This hotel was amazing. Room 10 had a stunning view overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was tasty and the bacon and sausage were of a real good quality. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we can’t wait to come back again. A lovely little gem 🥰
