A fantastic experience and great service from lovely people. Sylvia and Kathryn were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and Poppy is a gorgeous boat – so well-equipped, clean and tidy. Was gutted to leave her! Highly recommend for a holiday that allows you to completely switch off and slow down the pace of life for a few days.

Fantastic boats and people, Michael and Sylvia are very friendly people that make the whole process of hiring a boat joy. The boats are perfect in every way and the canal is a stunning place to be and they are dog friendly. Highly recommended for canal boat hire whether it’s a short weekend break or for a full weeks holiday.

We really enjoyed our three night stay on Poppy. The boat is a few years old but looks brand new and everything worked like it should. The owners spent a good 40 minutes or more showing us around and taking us for a training cruise, after which we set off for a fun holiday at 3 mph. Our two young children enjoyed the ride as well, not to mention the costumes provided by Sylvia. The canal itself is beautiful and secluded, yet we were never too far from shops, pubs, and even a children’s fun farm. Highly recommend this company, this boat, and this canal!
