Very rude & obnoxious owners..(it that’s what he was )…have visited this marina before & used the on site cafe…fed the ducks on the canal.today we were accosted by what I presume was either the owner or manger as we approached the canal and asked “Can I help you” to which we replied no thank you.what are you doing,we said “we are ok thank you”. he asked do you have a boat at the marina,do you want to bring a boat to the marina..(if I had wanted a mooring this would be the last place I’d leave it after his behaviour) on telling him neither of those applied he said “it’s private land can you leave…which we did immediately and proceeded to walk to the cafe where we enjoyed our lunch as we have every week for the last 6 months.suggest he ups his customer relations skills.I might just add we have previously stood in the exact same place on numerous occasions over the last 6 months and fed the ducks or just sat for 10 minutes to enjoy the tranquility without ever being questioned.

Staff are lovely, polite and helpful. The marina and facilities are lovely. Very well maintained. Showers, toilets and laundry Very clean and well equipped.

I’m not a boat owner but all seems ok from the outside. Not sure of service delivery or amenities so a user would have to comment.

Popped in for a pumpout and met Phill who helped us with what was probably the best out yet!!

He and Paula were so kind and helpful. What a pleasure to have such wonderful service from friendly, professional people. Highly recommend Kings Waterside Marina as an excellent place to stop at when in Newark.
