Guide To Tower of London

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highlight of our trip! The Tower of London did not disappoint. The history is fascinating, the grounds are beautiful, and seeing the Crown Jewels was a highlight. Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time so you don’t miss out. I would also recommend bringing a water bottle. You can refill it inside using the fountain. There is also a small cafe located at the exit of the Crown Jewels if you want tea or coffee. Also, do not rush your visit—take your time wandering through the towers and walls to get the full experience. Great photo ops! Food trucks are also located right outside with a few picnic benches to grab a quick bite afterwards. There are more dining options in the hub nearby. Worth every penny!

A great tour that could take 3 hours if you want to. It was even enough to keep my 11 and 8 year old entertained for the whole journey, even though it was scorching hot.

Would very much recommend going through the white tour and chapel. You could skip the bloody tower, but the wall was enjoyable and a lot of interactive exhibits.

The tickets are super expensive, but it was really worth it! I spent 2.75 hours here. if you’re able to, I would highly recommend doing the free beefeater tour, which is included in the ticket price. There’s so much history and so much to see. It’s incredible how well they were able to preserve it. Definitely worth it!

We did a self-guided visit and booked tickets online when we arrived as I couldn’t find ticket counter, I would definitely recommend booking tickets in advance. Luckily only few people were ahead of us as it was weekday. I expect it will be empty but it was full of school students.

I would say you would need three hours or more if you want to see everything properly and have a small rest. When we entered we were greeted by volunteers or staffs to guide us as we had a pram. It’s not a pram friendly place but they do have few areas where you can leave your pram. It’s totally understandable as it is a symbol of British history and royal heritage which they want to keep them as original as it is.

One of the most interesting and must see area is crown jewel. I would recommend seeing it first in the morning as it’s gets busier and you are not allowed to take any pictures inside. It’s mesmerizing to see precious collection of royal regalia from history times to the jewels which is still gets used during coronation.

White tower is an experience but it consists of 100s of steps which is challenging for disabled or family with children.

Overall it’s a must see place and have lots of things to see and do.

Awesome experience. Love the virtual tour. Amazing architecture. The Crown jewels are truly something to behold, just mind blowing. Also loved touring the armory. “Can you build something that will last 1000 years”.
