It is situated on the non-tidal stretch of the River Ouse, just four miles south of York city centre. This family-owned facility has welcomed boaters since the 1940s, with current owners Phil and Pam Bleakley managing operations since 2006.

Lovely views of the river. Only 11 pitches so very peaceful. Marina bar and restaurant onsite. Local village pub 5 minute walk away. Bus outside the site for York. Superb walks near by.

We stayed here for 4 nights 10-14 July with our caravan. Great checkin with prior information via e mail. Lovely pitch beside the river with services ie water and waste. We felt very secure, with a key fob for gates and toilet/shower. Weather was great too. Sat out most nights watching the river with its boats and wildlife. Waterfront restaurant was superb and terrace was great for drinks. The information booklet was brilliant and gave excellent information about local walks and local pubs, which we used while we were there. Couldn’t fault a single thing. Staff were also great. We will def book again.

What a great place!!

We stopped for 3 nights end of May, and everything (except the weather 😂) was pretty much perfect.

Great pitches overlooking the river, fully serviced with grey water drain too. The tea room and restaurant wasn’t open while we were there on an evening but I think it is Thursday Friday & Saturday.

Really convenient for the York Designer Outlet and also for the Park & Ride into York town centre, where you’ll never be stuck for places to eat, drink or shop.

Toilets and showers are excellent and staff very welcoming and helpful.

We’ll definitely be back, thank you 🙏

We had a wonderful long weekend away the floating lodge was fabulous, offering both comfort & charm with lots of extras & extremely clean 😊

The waterside cafe was a real highlight with breathtaking views & and inviting atmosphere.

Everything was 5* the staff were friendly & attentive, the food & drinks were excellent, & everything was spotless throughout our stay.

We’re already planning our return & have recommended it to family & friend. ❤️❤️

Stayed in a Floating Lodge holiday for the first time. Very enjoyable. The lodge itself was immaculate and came with everything we needed, including a bottle of Prosecco. Great location on the marina with views of all the moored cruisers and boats. The reception staff were very pleasant and friendly and made the booking in process simple. Ample, secure parking close to the walkway leading down to the pontoon, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Nice local walking routes beside the river and into the local village of Naburn. Also a good starting location to visit York, and The Designer Village.
