Guide To North Kilworth Wharf

What a fabulous place this is, whilst my visit was more of a social one. John and his staff are really friendly and very knowledgeable and not afraid of a challenge.

Hopefully one day soon I will be mooring up to the wharf in my own boat.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We hired the Little Otter just for four days midweek, not having been on a narrowboat for some years. She was compact but well-appointed inside with everything we needed. She was clean and responsive and could be turned almost anywhere with ease. John and the team were helpful, friendly and offer a great, professional service and we will definitely be back next year! Highly recommended.

cannot recommend enough! John and the team was absolutely amazing, couldn’t ask for a friendlier bunch :). definitely be telling all our friends and family and recommending they get booked as it’s incredible! the canal was beautiful and the boat was stunning! we stayed on precious gem which for me, the wife and our two dogs it was plenty big enough and so cosy with the fire going! we’ll be booking again once we’re home! thanks again John, see you again soon!

We hired Sophie’s Serenity for a few days. We were welcomed with a smile and the boat was very clean and of high spec. Gerry and John are genuinely nice, helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend them and we will be hiring again.

We highly recommended John and his team at North Kilworth Wharf for narrowboat hire. We hired Lady Sienna for 3 days/3 nights and, although complete novices, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water. The boat interior was super with lots of useful bits and pieces in the kitchen such as washing up bits, tea towel, kitchen roll etc. A well-stocked coffee machine was a lovely bonus, and the second fridge was useful too. Great for all ages – we and our kids loved it!
