Stopped by to use the launderette. While waiting decided to have a couple of ales each then stayed for a very enjoyable lunch.

Meals were very nice and were reasonable priced.

The publican was very friendly and helpful.

Local SPAR and Co Op were within walking distance of the canal and pub.

Great meals.

Great atmosphere.

Thanks.

A lovely pub in Brewood, South Staffs. Food was tasty and plenty. Considering it was a boxing day meal yummy. Staff here are ace, polite and attentive, easy to talk to, approachable. Good atmosphere and able to discuss and talk as well be a bit noisy as appropriate. Would i come here again, absolutely.

It was great from start to finish. We’ve visited before but only had drinks outside. Food was lovely although did take nearly 1 hr after ordering to arrive at the table and then the way the steaks were cooked was mixed up butttttt to us it didn’t matter and we will be visiting again soon.
