Great food, chips were the best bit. Lovely pub. Perhaps the best in Audlem.
Super cute canal side pub! A few veggie options but could have more. Dog friendly and has a lovely pub garden.
We stopped by The Shroppie Fly in Audlem for a Sunday roast and it absolutely delivered!
The roast was generous, beautifully plated, and full of flavour. The beef was tender, the Yorkshire pudding was golden and crisp, and the gravy was rich and comforting everything you want from a proper pub roast. The veg was cooked perfectly, and the roasties had that satisfying crunch with a fluffy centre.
What made it even better was the setting right by the canal, enjoying a pint of Guinness and a local cider in the sunshine. It felt like the perfect countryside Sunday.
Great food, great prices, and a lovely relaxed vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area (and hungry)!
There are so many good options on the menu, one of the best I’ve seen. The Shroppie burger was lovely. My friend had the Cheshire pork sausages, onion gravy and buttery mash which he said was excellent too. Good service all round and friendly staff. A proper canal side pub which is one of the very best along the Shropshire Union Canal.
The service and friendly welcome was wonderful.
The menu is so full of excellent choices. I wanted to have everything, but I eventually decided on the chicken, ham, leek pie. This was such a great meal. The creamy mashed potatoes really added to the meal. Really enjoy this food so much. Thank you
