This traditional red-brick building, adorned with colourful flower boxes in the summer, has preserved its old-world charm with minimal changes over the centuries. It overlooks the village green in a scenic conservation area just minutes from Junction 1 of the M40. The establishment has received multiple accolades, including an AA 4-Star Quality Award and Cask Marque accreditation for its excellent ales. It also offers comfortable accommodation in spacious bedrooms, which blend modern amenities with 16th-century character, featuring exposed oak beams and brick chimney breasts.
Visitors particularly enjoy the south-facing terraced garden, ideal for alfresco dining when the weather permits, although it’s important to note that the kitchen was temporarily closed according to recent updates. The Falcon Inn is popular among walkers exploring the surrounding Colne Valley Country Park and canal paths. It continues its centuries-old tradition of hospitality in an idyllic setting that feels “a million miles away” from the nearby M25, making it a perfect weekend retreat for those seeking a genuine taste of historic Buckinghamshire.

Had a 2-night stay for work there.
A cosy hotel with a bar and parking on the streets. The room was nice, had a fridge and a fan. The bed was good.
Nice people also.
I used to hang out here a bit with family and friends in my tweens, teens and twenties; when you lived in Hillingdon in the 70’s and 80’s, a visit to Denham offered you a window on a beautiful ‘other’ world! The Falcon is still a great place to drink, and, sitting on the Green outside, with a glass of wine on a sunny day was just about perfect.
Quiet friendly pub , good beer no loud music what more could you ask for.
Known this pub for decades. It’s very good. It’s small inside with a garden out back. Food is offered. Beers looked very interesting recently: Proper Job, T Taylor and Knight of the Garter! Time for another look, if you haven’t been recently. Very friendly welcome.
