Baxter Boatyard went above and beyond & more for us! We have had the best experience of having our boat painted and alot of extra referb too, also with us asking on top of that, “could you do this please”? “Can you do that please”? 🤦‍♀️ nothing was too much x done at top quality workmanship! Odysseus had a glorious finish when it was brand new (16 years ago!), so we were hoping, when we asked Bob and Beck at Baxter Boat Yard, if they could do a complete repaint for us; we were just hoping that it would be restored to its former glory.

We were wrong. Odysseus now looks better than when it was new. The finish is beautiful, gleaming paintwork, with sparkle and depth that it has not had before. It’s so good that we are very worried about taking it out for our four-week break to the Staffs and Worcester in case it gets scratched!

Everything about the repaint has obviously been done with care and attention to detail, even down to the protection and cleaning of the interior before, during and after the job.

Our boat has just had a full re-paint and re-blacking completed at Baxter’s. We are delighted with the result, which looks stunning. The whole experience from start to finish has been good. Starting with a clear and reasonable quote for the work, helpful consultations and advice before docking, we took the boat in feeling we were in safe hands. We have not been disappointed. The boat now has mirror finish gloss-work, the brass has all been re-polished and the woodwork sanded and varnished. the interior left very clean.
