Lovely local pub, friendly and welcoming. We didn’t eat but there were cobs and pies on offer, which looked good. Clean and tidy pub with plenty of seating inside and outside. Plenty of drink choices too. I definitely recommend a visit

Lovely little pub, very much a canal pub, with real ales and seats outside by the lock. Has a small pub garden too out the back.

Does a selection of home made sandwiches and pies and pasties on the bar.

It’s not glamorous, it’s real and traditional, and has charm and character.

It has been a few years since we visited the Barton Turns (our last visit was not brilliant). However, a friend said how lovely it was, so we gave it a try.

The pub was decorated for the VE Day commemoration and was very welcoming. The Landlord, Landlady and all the staff made us feel as though we should be there and not first time visitors.

They do very simple food well, cobs, pies and weekend specials. Fresh pork scratchings were fab.

We have since been back two more times and hope to make this pub our “local” even though we are a little bit of a drive away. Need I say more! Thank you 😊
