What a lovely lovely pub, made to feel very welcome after a horrible manager at the pub we were actually staying in. (Hanbury) Barmaid was so friendly, and the local at the bar. Was a good place to relax while we waited for our check in.

Went here for a traditional Sunday roast with my family before they headed back to NZ and it did not disappoint! The vibe is really nice and spacious and it accommodates big groups easily. We tried all the roasts except the pork and they were perfect. Great portions and full of flavour. I loved the seasoning on the potatoes and the Yorkshire puddings were massive. Shout out to the seed roast which was lovely! We had the sticky toffee for desert which came with custard on top and was very yummy. As we were leaving they had someone playing the piano. Cool vibes and lots of seating and reasonably priced.

Great spot just by the canal, love it here, it’s a good place to watch the big sports events- they don’t Show Premier league But it gets Super lively for the 6nations Rugby and international Football – theres an excellent and very friendly pub cat and the Sunday roast absolutely bangs.
Queer friendly and a lovely welcoming Team.
Absolutely adore this Place, it’s where the locals in the area drink which tells you everything you need to know.

Cozy pub. Sunday roast and hot toddy warmed our souls. A good spot to take a breath, enjoy some good conversation, and have good food and drink. The service is great and welcoming.

It’s a dog friendly pub. The atmosphere is always friendly even if you don’t have a dog with you. This is a card only establishment. They can take cash, but can’t give change. This is pretty common in a lot of pubs and clubs now days.
They have a dining section around back and seats outside for the smoker. I would guess it can fit around 100 people comfortably. Good place for a company event.
