This time last year I was going through one of the hardest and all time lowest times in my life. I was homeless and for 3 weeks I slept rough under the arches down the side of Sainsbury’s which didn’t know it at the time but that is the only thing that I cherish because without being in that situation I have never had the opportunity of having the pleasure of getting to know the large majority the boating community. at that time I never anticipated just how crucial getting to know everybody on the marina allowed me to get to the place I am now. them three weeks spent sleeping under them arches I’ve got me to where I am now which just so happens to be living on board a boat becoming part of that wonderful community

I love the place, perfect for me selfie 🤳 lol, lovely young lad serving us thank you 🙏🏽 fish and chips are yummy.

Really helpful with a lovely warm welcome and filled up with diesel ready for the customer.

Loads of takeaways and supermarkets close by too which is a bonus 🙂
