Lovely evening spent on the canal to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday. We hired a driver. Annmarie (owner) drove the boat for us so we could have alcohol. We took our buffet on board and enjoyed eating it amongst beautiful scenery on a calm boat journey,

Excellent day out on cabal boat. Talk beforehand very good. Everything you need on board plates cutlery tea coffee sugar milk and whistling kettle. Flushing toilet. Bring aa blanket and cushions to sit on.

The guys running the place were really charming and helpful, the route they suggested was a comfortable day trip too. However the barge we were given it self was in need of outdoor seating and maintenance, I would suggest checking it out before taking it. A good way to spend a day, with a great pub along the way for lunch
