Beautiful place for a walk or ride on a bike. Beautiful nature and wildlife around. Make you connect to the real world of nature. Really enjoyed the colours of autumn. Sure coming back again in summer.

We had a great experience at FVM! Richard and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, and Nick at TW Marine was a font of knowledge. Great mooring prices and very cheap diesel as well. It is peaceful and the views are great…and the train station is a 3 minute walk away. Highly recommended.

Arrived at marina with a pre booked dock which turned into a complete catastrophe as the mooring was already allocated so we moved at the managers request to then have to move the next day. Limited facilities, couldn’t find a toilet and the manager was in such a rush to be else where we felt lost. Carry on chugging along lol!
