Guide To Hallingbury Marina

THE marina to be in on the most beautiful river – but don’t tell anyone. Having been boating for more than 40 years I can honestly say that the team are second to none, facilities are exactly what you need and it has to be one of the most beautiful places to berth your boat.

Always nice to have a walk along the canal, it’s clearly looked after so paths are maintained. sunny days are especially nice and peaceful.

Had my blacking done here at the end of season. Hands down the nicest people I’ve had work on my boat in the last 5 years. Friendly, efficient, approachable and full of interesting stories. The weather did have other ideas about us reaching the marina in time, but the guys here did everything they could to assist our arrival, and indeed to get us back down the stort before a lengthy lock closure.

Throughly recommend – it may seem a lot of effort to get your boat to them, but absolutely worth it. And very competitive prices!

We first visited for our boats survey a year ago and have just returned for our first blacking. They made both smooth and easy, especially for a couple rookie boaters 🙂 We’ll be going back any time we ever need a dry dock ❤️

Just had our blacking done there. Rob & Graham were great – super friendly and helpful, especially when we got stuck downstream due to the flooding/down trees and our arrival there was delayed by a number of days. Great value for money and a superb service – can’t rate highly enough
