A quiet non residential marina tucked away a short distance from Stoke Bruerne bottom lock. Lovely views and a convenient, friendly boatyard next door.

Not residential

Not easy to find but very pretty

Didn’t feel particularly welcome her but the chap who told us to move our boat did direct us to the shop, so I guess what he took with one hand he gave back with the other.

Not a happy place. It doesn’t welcome visitors. We were escorted out. The right to roam hasn’t come this far. Commercially you would think they are missing a trick. Being a villager from further down the canal in my first 22 years – yes we like to roam over the fields, down the rivers and canal. So thumbs down to this place. Meanwhile on the canal itself much happier people abound.
