A pleasant area to walk around but surprisingly quiet with few points of interest.

Limehouse Waterside & Marina is a vibrant dockland area in East London, located between the River Thames and the Regent’s Canal. It offers moorings for boats, waterfront apartments, and scenic walkways. The marina is a hub for leisure activities, with restaurants, pubs, and easy access to Canary Wharf and the Thames Path.

Wandered here while killing some time. Interesting area. Great views along the river nearby. Heron hanging out in the marina. Nice vibe. Got me looking up how much it costs to have a houseboat here.

Nice Marina located right next to Limehouse Station (on the DLR between Bank and Canary Wharf). Great starting point for walks and runs either along the canals or along the Thames (towards either Canary Wharf and if you enjoy a long walk to Island Garden and even Greenwich or the opposite direction to St. Katherine’s Docks and Tower Bridge).

There are nice cafés nearby, Yurt Café (in tents) and Husk (across the street from Limehouse Station) a canoe rental right by the basin (Moo Canoes) and a few minutes walk away the famous pub The Grapes.

An island of serenity just a short walk from Canary Wharf. A lovely walk around the marina in the evening, or visit Gordon Ramsay’s pub “The Narrow” for amazing food and views of the Thames.
