We had a really positive experience with Fox’s Narrowboats in March and felt it was important to leave a proper review.

From start to finish, the team were knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Nothing felt rushed or dismissive — questions were answered clearly, advice was practical, and you could tell they care about both the boats and the people using them.

Moored , fueled, pumped and serviced at reasonable price. Boat was made safe for long journey to london.

Absolutely amazing adult (and doggos) family day out with Fox Narrowboat’s day hire. Brilliant organisation and communication. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Cannot recommend enough!

We had a fantastic day out on “Adventurer” which was a lovely narrow boat that was in great condition and performed impeccably, as a group of 10 including young ones. Being complete novices with no experience on the water whatsoever, we decided to steer clear of any locks and take the ‘easy’ route which was great. We did get slightly lost but managed to find our way back and were able to communicate with the team back at base throughout although there was no real need. Overall would highly recommend.

Fab day out on the Cambridgeshire Fens on a narrow boat. Not even the rain could put a damper on the day!
