Guide To Mayroyd Moorings

Awesome place to park and enjoy the views as well as the area is great few steps away to have some social life. It’s incredible at evening time in fairytale atmosphere.

I am both pleased and privileged to call it my home – a little community of 14 boats straddling Mayroyd lock #8 with a few shoreside facilities and plenty of space for a bit of gardening. Definitely one of the most photographed spots in Hebden for the colours and eclectic mix of boats.

Lovely spot for people to live on boats. Has an almost studio ghibli vibe to it.

Has the boating community feel and a friendly atmosphere, even if things are a bit untidy!
