Guide To Pike and Eel Marina

We booked at very short notice. Rita, the manager, made a special effort to move room bookings around to accommodate my elderly father and was very kind and helpful, as were all the staff whilst we were there. The dinners in the evening surpassed our expectations and the Eggs Benedict I had for breakfast both mornings was delicious.

After another stunning roast dinner here yesterday I felt I just had to leave them a great review ! Love this place , not only for the amazing food but for the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff and management alike .. The food was, once again , stunning .. love that there seems to be a slight hint of Indian spices in all their food making for a very tasty and different experience . We are still talking about the amazing soup we had for Christmas lunch 2 years ago !! We live 10 miles away so don’t come that often but, after yesterdays meal we will definitely be making that journey a lot more regularly ! Thank you for making us feel so welcome once again , even our 3 pugs are so relaxed and welcomed here . 10/10 !

Beautiful location with gorgeous river views and a huge outdoor garden. Restaurant is particularly good with a a unique chef that does amazing specials! They regularly have special food events on such as kebab and curry evenings and they are well worth a visit. Great location, friendly staff and great food. One of my favourite places to cycle to

Never stayed here so only will comment on eating and drinking here. I’ve always found it very good with good quality food and drink for prices charged. Service has always been very good and never let down on this front. Staff are always friendly and helpful with there being plenty of parking and perfect setting on a nice warm day for outside socialising.
