We love the place. Food is fantastic, staff extremely friendly. Atmos could be better as the lighting is a bit too bright, but we keep going back because the food is so good.

This has to be the worst dining out experience me and my partner has ever had.

We turned up as the restaurant opened, we was the first couple to sit down and the starters took 2 hours to come out while take away orders was flying out the door.

Food was great but then we had to wait for our mains which was another 40 minutes? When the mains arrived, there was a black beard hair on my missus’s plate and a huge long black hair in my meal, food was undercooked. It was an absolute joke. Would not recommend anyone dining here. Joke of a resteraunt.

Definitely will never be returning.

There was a couple that sat next to us for their 50th anniversary and they left before we did because of the ridiculous wait times. We sent them to a different Indian restaurant that we know of so we can only hope that they had a better experience there than they did here.

Joke!

It was really busy tonight both with takeaway orders and people dining in the restaurant. The service was slower because of this and some people were not happy. We could see that the staff were working hard and were in no hurry so didn’t mind. When the food arrived it was excellent, sometimes the quality can suffer at busy times but it didn’t tonight. Well done to all concerned on a very challenging evening.

I’ll start with the positives. It was mid week and the place wasn’t full, so at least we could hear one another. The decor is improved since my last visit and is pleasant enough.

I ordered an Apna Special and Chicken Tikka Garlic. The chicken in the Apna Special was Tikka (so the chicken was cooked independently of the curry) and was very hard and dry. The sauce was very hot (temperature-wise, not spice) and the chicken was luke warm. Inconsistent heating (or more specifically, reheating) really disappointed. The chicken tikka was barely okay.

I’d recommend having the chef visit local competing businesses (unless all local competition is rubbish, in which case go visit a very successful place) to see what they do differently with their food. Taking shortcuts and using Tikka in all chicken dishes isn’t a good move as it gets cooked twice… I’m not a chef but know this.

Service was okay. “Thank youuuuuuu!”.

On holiday and ordered a takeaway, not sure if the lemon rice was deliberately spiked with a hot chilli or if it was an accident, but after one mouthful I was unable to at anything else 2 glasses of milk later and a fair few spoonful of yoghurt and I recovered with a very sore mouth.

The food received had lots of chicken but the sauces were all greasy and tasted the same. The stuffed baked pepper was excellent.
